Project Highlights
Norwalk Police Headquarters in Norwalk, CT

Mr. Preston worked closely with the project's architect city and police officials and contractors to design structural elements of the building to double as part of the security system. St. Mary's Parish School Gymnasium Addition in Ridgefield, CT
This 16,000 sq. ft. masonry, concrete, steel and glass addition provides an eye-catching multi-use space for the growing school. Mr. Preston exercised his creativity and innovativeness in designing the multi-directional double-cantilevered roof system. Working closely with the geotechnical engineer, Mr. Preston designed the foundation system designed to resist not only normal building loads but also considerable upward hydrostatic pressures due to the site's high water table. Working together with the project architect, exposed steel connections were designed to blend aesthetic appeal and function. Mr. Preston was the project manager for the gymnasium wing addition while with the DiSalvo Ericson Group.
Long Ridge School Arts & Athletics Wing Addition in Stamford, CT
Accentuated by steel tube trusses and glulam beams and trusses, much of this 13,000 sq. ft. addition remains exposed to view, providing an open and natural feel for the school's students. Mr. Preston designed unique connections to help join the systems of steel and glulam framing which would have visual appeal and would not compromise the tight construction schedule. Mr. Preston was the project manager for the Long Ridge School addition while with the DiSalvo Ericson Group.

Ryan is married to his wonderful wife, Jessica. When not busy designing buildings, Ryan can be found hiking or bicycling, travelling to exotic lands, or honing his photography skills. Unless of course it is a Saturday afternoon, in which case he can undoubtedly be found cheering on the Fighting Irish.
